Andy Pyatt Freelance Guitar
Andy Pyatt is an experienced professional freelance guitar player & guitar teacher who covers all styles of popular music with style and ease. Originally from Manchester UK, Andy started his musical career in his teens writing his own music and playing guitar in rock bands.
During his 20’s he became interested in ‘Blues’ and studied various styles such as: Albert King, BB King, Albert Collins, Jimmy Vaughan, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Ronnie Earl.
Later he developed a Jazz style, influenced by the likes of: Kenny Burrell, Jim Hall, Duke Robillard, George Benson, and Sax player Stanley Turentine. He has also developed a rock style similar to that of Carlos Santana.
Over the years Andy has played with various bands, covering all styles including Jazz, Latin, Soul, Funk, Rock and Pop, though he is predominantly recognised for playing the ‘Blues’. Andy has received excellent reviews, which include being described as a ‘Real Talent’ by Blues in Britain Magazine and his playing as ‘Great!’ by BB2 Radio’s, Paul Jones.

Accredited to 'RockSchool' he is an experienced guitar teacher working in both Primary schools and High schools in the UK. He is also available for private tuition.
Andy recently returned from France after 3 years and is available for freelance and session work.
